How does it work?
Each new patient will receive a personalized wellness assessment, during which their chosen doctor will assess their goals and their current health situation. Their doctor will then develop a report of findings listing specific recommendations. They may recommend getting labs if they believe lab tests will help confirm their findings or find new information to help that patient achieve their health goals.
How can it help me?
If your Premier Wellness doctor recommends a lab test for you, it will help them find new information or confirm their findings to help you have the most comprehensive plan to achieve your health goals.
How are lab results incorporated into my visits?
All new patients are asked to provide an onsite urine sample during their new patient appointment for their urinalysis. Your doctor may also recommend getting labs if they believe lab tests will help confirm their findings or find new information to help that patient achieve their health goals.
How long do the sessions take?
Our personalized wellness assessment is a very comprehensive experience, which includes a thorough review of your history and a detailed exam. You should plan to spend approximately an hour and forty-five minutes at our clinic for your first visit.
All of the follow-up exams and treatments take approximately 15 minutes.
If you have multiple areas of concern, such as back pain, shoulder pain, headaches, and digestive issues, you can request a “double” appointment to allow you more time to address your concerns. A “double” takes approximately 30 minutes.
What is the cost of each lab?
The onsite urinalysis is included in your personalized wellness assessment free of charge.
Additional lab fees vary. You may call us at 801-268-8090 to ask about fees for specific lab tests you may be interested in.
Do you accept health insurance?
Payment for labs are due at the time you receive your testing materials. We are not preferred providers in network with any insurance companies. You may contact your insurance company to determine if they cover any lab fees, then work with them directly to determine how to receive reimbursement for lab tests you would like to have performed.
